Photo Guidelines
To ensure we craft the perfect portrait that captures the unique personality of your pet, please read through our photo guidelines.
Well-lit images
Natural light works wonders, so consider snapping photos outdoors or in a well-lit room.
High-quality
Opt for images taken with a good quality camera or smart phone.
No filtered or blurry images.
Clearly Visible
Take photos at your pets eye level and ensure we can clearly see their face and neck (or full body for full body portraits)
Purrfect photos

Photos to avoid

Blurry/ Too close
Check that your photos aren't blurry and that we can see your pets face clearly.

Poorly lit
Ensure the lighting is just right so we can clearly see your pets features.

Awkward pose
We love seeing your funny pet photos but we can't use these to draw your perfect pet portrait.

Filtered / Edited photos
Avoid uploading filtered photos as this makes it difficult to know the true colour of your pets fur.

- Your pet will be drawn in the exact position in the photo you provide us, unless you state otherwise.
- We use the same font in black across all our pet portraits, however you can request a different font and colour.
- Keep an eye on your emails as we will send you a preview of your portrait.
- You can request to make changes however we cannot change the positioning of your pet.
